Creating Custom Video Filters on Android

This XDA TV video shows you how to create a “look” and turn it into a video filter using the camera on your Android phone. These filters can be applied to your video clips using Adobe Premiere Clip.

Create a New Look with Adobe Capture

Adobe Capture is a very underappreciated app. It has several powerful tools that use your phone’s camera to generate patterns, colors, shapes and more. Download the app and go to the “Looks” tab. Here you can use your camera to create a new filter that can be applied to your videos.

The right side of the screen show the colors being extracted from the live camera feed.

Apply Your Custom Looks with Premiere Clip

Adobe Premiere clip is the mobile version of the premiere video editing software. When you save your custom looks, they will be synced to the Creative Cloud. They will automatically show up in other Adobe programs for you to use. Open the video you want to edit in Adobe Clip. Go to the filters section and open “My Library”. Here you will find your custom looks. Now just tap to apply them to your video.
